Terms of Service

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the JobZen.io platform, operated by BWD Consulting, a French SASU (simplified sole shareholder company) registered under SIREN number 103 470 100, with registered office at 19 Rue Elsa Triolet, 91160 Saulx-les-Chartreux.

By creating an account or using the Service, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must stop using the Service.

2. Service description

JobZen.io is a SaaS job matching platform offering:

  • Candidates: personalized job alerts, match scores per listing, matching explanations, CV coaching, application tracking (premium plans)
  • Recruiters: notifications of matching candidates, candidate panel access, CV/job matching tool (premium plans)
  • API Partners: matching API access for integration into third-party tools

3. Registration and accounts

3.1 Eligibility Registration is open to any individual of legal age or any legal entity. Recruiter accounts require a valid, verified email address.

3.2 Accuracy You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are solely responsible for the consequences of inaccurate or fraudulent information.

3.3 Account security You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Any use of the Service from your account is presumed to be made by you. In case of compromise, contact support@jobzen.io immediately.

4. Plans and subscriptions

4.1 Available plans Service plans and pricing are detailed at https://jobzen.io/pricing. All prices include applicable taxes.

4.2 Subscriptions Premium subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from the subscription section of your personal account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

4.3 Payment Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment details are never stored by BWD Consulting.

4.4 Refunds BWD Consulting may grant refunds at its discretion in case of verified Service malfunction attributable to BWD Consulting. Contact support@jobzen.io.

4.5 Price changes BWD Consulting reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. You may cancel before new prices take effect.

5. Use of the Service

5.1 Permitted use You agree to use the Service in accordance with its purpose, applicable law, and these Terms.

5.2 Prohibited uses The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Using the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Scraping, crawling, or automated extraction of Service data
  • Attempting to circumvent security measures
  • Impersonating another person or entity
  • Submitting fraudulent CVs or profiles belonging to third parties without consent
  • Transmitting unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
  • Using the Service to send unsolicited communications
  • Reproducing or reselling any part of the Service without written authorization

5.3 CV and professional data By uploading your CV, you certify you are its author or have the necessary rights to share it. You retain ownership of your CV. You grant BWD Consulting a limited, non-exclusive license to process your CV solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Platform All elements of JobZen.io (source code, algorithms, design, texts, trademarks) are the exclusive property of BWD Consulting or its licensors.

6.2 User content You retain ownership of your data and content (CV, profile). BWD Consulting claims no proprietary rights over your personal or professional data.

7. Limitation of liability

7.1 Nature of Service JobZen.io is a job search assistance tool. BWD Consulting does not guarantee:

  • Obtaining employment or interviews
  • The accuracy or completeness of job listings (sourced from third parties)
  • The absolute relevance of match scores
  • The availability or currency of listings presented

7.2 Exclusions To the extent permitted by applicable law, BWD Consulting shall not be liable for:

  • Decisions made by users based on Service results
  • Content published by recruiters or sourced from third parties
  • Service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure
  • Any indirect, consequential damages or loss of opportunity

7.3 Availability BWD Consulting strives to keep the Service accessible 24/7 but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance may be carried out with prior notice where possible.

8. Termination

8.1 By the user You may delete your account at any time via Settings > Delete my account. Deletion is scheduled and your data is permanently erased within 30 days. You may cancel the deletion request during this period by following the link sent to your email.

8.2 By BWD Consulting BWD Consulting reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access in case of violation of these Terms, without notice in case of serious breach. Any suspension decision may be contested by email at support@jobzen.io.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties shall seek an amicable resolution before any legal action. Failing that, the competent courts are those of BWD Consulting's registered office.

10. Modifications

BWD Consulting reserves the right to modify these Terms. You will be notified of any material change by email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
